Baldrige Award

It's called the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.

It's an award – and a methodology – for establishing and demonstrating quality and performance excellence.

2008 Baldrige Recipients

Three organizations were honored as recipients of the 2008 Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award (click links for profiles and contact information): Cargill Corn Milling North America of Wayzata, Minnesota in the manufacturing category; Poudre Valley Health System of Fort Collins, Colorado in the health care category; and Iredell-Statesville Schools of Statesville, North Carolina in the education category.

An ASQ Case Study (Open Access) chronicled how Iredell-Statesville Schools used a Baldrige-based approach to turn around a mediocre, financially troubled district in just a few years.
